So far this has been a great start to the weekend.The riding today was the best weather in a long time.Went downtown to see a parade and watch my sisters kid
in the Indepentant show and even though we are a small town Erin Tippen is playing there right now.And this is only the 3rd.You all have a great weekend.The
4th here is THE FIRE IN THE SKY.Can not wait to see the fireworks going off on the Missouri river behide the capitol to the the tunes of Neal Diamond,

OK you can laugh but we went and seen him on his victory tour back in the 80,s.It was a good show from way up in the bleachers at Royals statium.

Woke up way to early so i could get in a long ride today and it is raining.God has a plan for me i just wish he would let me in on it.For now it is back to
bed.

I hit the lake, been camping out in the same spot for 15 years has become kinda a landmark for the fourth of July. started out as just a couple of tents and a
grill now it takes two pickups and a couple of hours to set up, two 10 X 20 canopy's, five huge ice chests, so many chairs I don't count. Pissed me off
that on the 4th of July that the damn city didn't even fly a flag over the ball fields became a contest between me and my neighbor to who's flag was
the tallest he gave up when I brought the antenna mast and hit about 30 feet! Weather was perfect, cloudy and overcast kept the temps down under 100, lake felt
great. cooked 15lbs of burgers, I don't know how many hot dogs and every kind of chip you could think of, had to be over 10,000 people down at the cove
area, huge party going on. We sat and watched a storm roll in all of a sudden with no notice at all one of my canopy's took off! Damndest thing I ever saw,
I grabbed the one I was standing under the other landed several feet away upside down and these are the commercial canopy's. Then the rain hit, rained like
hell for about an hour it was cool watching the boats out on the lake. :) Got a brief break and they started the fireworks, wasn't even dark? We heard that
a big storm was headed our way so while I had all the help I got everyone to throw the shit in my trucks and get the hell out of there. Glad i did too cause it
really started to rain and didn't let up for several hours. Got to the house and no electric! I'm used to it where I live. They got it back on in a
couple of hours. Hey, all in all it was a great 4th, just different from the rest and that's what it's all about

my opinion of jackson is one many wont agree with I thought he was sick paedophile that deserved to be locked up years ago even if you disgard 95% of the
things that were said of him it still made him a child molester. the fact that it was ignored by many because he was a "super star" I find disgusting
he was and still remains a sick twisted paedophile.
this is my own opinion and I expect to be borrated for it . any way happy 4th july guys. |

Why would we get down on you.We did not know the man-boy.It is just that there was no proof that he really did anything but be a child himself so that is why
people give him a pass.Bro you can say anything you want as long as it dont cause a feud on the site.Freebyrd dont go for that.Speaking about Jackson is not
going to do that.Although i wish i had never brought it up.Wait that was that #^%$#&% Frank that did that.

We had the rain also.You guys know that because of that i had to take the old man to the casino since i was not riding.Could have went to D.C. and watched the
fire works for what that cost.Now the 5th has been a great riding day with just a little drizzle that did not even wet the ground.It was one of those one in a
million days that the rain was kinda good.Posted some pics on my page at the bottom.
