I'm finally ready to go back to work, and now my boss tells me he can't afford to have me come back right now. I know this is true, because he sold his Vette...something he would have never done. It would have been nice if he'd told m,e weeks ago, before the bills started piling up. Oh well, I'll be able to file for unemployment at least. I know it wasn't anything personal, and I have a line on a good job...maybe. With luck like mine, who knows? lol freebyrd

Posts: 489 07/03/09 09:41 AM	already turned...lol The boss calls me the next night, and asked me if I would drive the moving truck for him. (I normally deliver Auto Parts to stores at night) I said sure. So I did. At the end of the day, he asked me how I was feeling. I told him I was worn out...lol that's when he told me he didn't want to lose me, and that he knew all of this wasn't fair to me but that May was the worst month he'd ever had, and asked me if I'd conceid the raise he had given me. I said yes because I know he'll make it up to me. I go back to work Monday night. I hate my job, but love the wages and the boss truly is a good guy. freebyrd

Posts: 956 07/03/09 08:45 PM	That may be the best saying i have ever heard about money.I got lucky today also.We were off and then we started a big job and i thought it would take up all the reserve in the bank account but darn if the contractor that we are building for came through with a mid job payment out of the blue.Man that feels good.
