OK,,,,,i got a pair of almost new shocks, they been laying around on the floor, for a long time..... put them on the other day ,and no shock? just
spring...........Can shocks go BAD just laying around?????????????? HELP

Yea, the seals get hard and start leaking internally.

sometimes just using them will soften the seals again. My master cylinder was the same way. I just kept working it, and it's been fine ever since.

well Free Bird ,,,first I want to thank you for your ,, EXPERTNESS,,lol,,,,,i did think of that.......I guess i will put them back on and see what
happens.....IF it works i will let you know........it is like riddeing a old CADDY,,,,,or TUG BOAT,,,,lol ......

just set them at their stiffest setting. The short shocks do ride differently than the stock shocks because they have a lot less oil in them.

the oil has probably settled on one end, should run back after they are up right for awhile and the air gets back out
